Celebrating 60 Years of Providing Services to our Community!
Suncoast Center for Community Mental Health, Inc.’s history extends back to 1944 when the Child Guidance Clinic was formed. From that beginning, the organization has evolved into today’s outpatient community mental health and social support services center, serving children and adults of all ages. Many changes and advancements have occurred in the treatment of mental illness since 1944, but one thing has not changed — the mental health needs of our community. These needs continue to be the driving force of our organization, just as they have been for 60 years. We are a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization comprised of carefully-selected professionals who are dedicated to providing the highest quality care to meet individual and family needs.
