The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast is a not-for-profit agency committed to caring for individuals and families as they face chronic illnesses, near the end of life, deal with end-of-life issues or grieve the loss of loved ones.  Community based, The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast offers comprehensive hospice and palliative care, emotional counseling, spiritual support and other services to the people of Pinellas County regardless of race, age, faith, diagnosis or financial circumstances.  Founded in 1977 by volunteers, more than 1,900 patients and their families are cared for each day by The Hospice’s staff of professionals along with nearly 3,000 dedicated volunteers.
